Penelusuran Biografi
Hoobastank merupakan grup musik asal Amerika Serikat yang beraliran rock modern yang melejit lewat lagu "The Reason" pada tahun 2004. Kata Hoobastank diambil dari kata "Hooba" dan "Slank". Kedua kata tersebut diambil dari bahasa pergaulan sewaktu masih duduk di bangku sekolah. Grup musik ini terdiri dari Douglas Robb (vokal), Dan Estrin (gitar), Markku Lappalainen (bass) dan Chris Hesse (drum). Hoobastank merilis lagu single perdananya yang berjudul "Crawling in The Dark pada November 2001. Lagu tersebut melejit hingga masuk di posisi 68 tangga Billboard Hot 100 dan di pisisi 3 untuk tangga modern rock. Kemudian single kedua pun diluncurkan dengan judul "Runnung Away" yang juga menembus posisi ke 44 untuk Billboard 100 dan di posisi ke 2 untuk rock modern. Pada album kedua, lagu andalan "The Reason" meledak dipasaran Amerika, Asia dan Eropa. Hoobastank saat ini sudah merilis album Basketball Shorts, Hoobastank (2001), The Reason (2003) dan Every Man For Himself (2006).Sebelum album Every Man For Himself rilis,Markku Lappalainen keluar dan digantikan Josh Moreau.

Avenged Sevenfold atau seringkali disingkat sebagai A7X adalah band Hard Rock dan Metal Core yang berasal dari Huntington Beach, California. Band ini dibentuk pada tahun 1999 di Huntington Beach, California dengan anggota asli M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev dan Matt Wendt. memberi nama bandnya yang referensinya berasal dari cerita Cain dan Abel dari Bible, meskipun demikian, mereka bukanlah band agamis. Saat pembentukannya, masing-masing anggota band ini memakai nama samaran yang juga merupakan nama panggilan mereka saat bersekolah di Sekolah Menegah Atas. Sebelum merilis album debut mereka, band ini merekam dua demo pada tahun 1999 dan 2000. Album pertama mereka, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, direkam ketika para anggota band masih berumur delapan belas tahun dan juga masih bersekolah di sekolah menengah atas. album ini pada awalnya dirilis oleh perusahaan label pertama mereka, Good Life Record pada tahun 2001. Setelah gitaris Synyster Gates bergabung dengan band, pada akhir 1999 masuk ketika ia berusia 18 tahun. Lagu "To End the Rapture" direkam ulang dengan menampilkan anggota penuh band. Album ini kemudian dirilis ulang pada Hopeless Records pada tahun 2002.

Whitney Houston (lahir di Newark, New Jersey, Amerika Serikat, 9 Agustus 1963) adalah seorang penyanyi pop dan R&B, artis, produser rekaman, penulis lagu dan mantan model Amerika Serikat. Kesuksesannnya membuka pintu bagi para penyanyi Afrika-Amerika yang lain, khususnya dari kalangan wanita, untuk sukses di dunia musik. Dia juga sering sekali dijuluki sebagai "The Voice". Whitney Houston dikenal sebagai salah seorang diva pop yang memiliki jangkauan suara 5 oktaf. Ia juga dikenal karena kemampuannya menyanyi pop-gospel dengan suara indah dan kuat.
Di tahun 1980-an, Houston adalah salah seorang penyanyi wanita Afrika-Amerika pertama yang masuk ke dalam tangga lagu MTV yang pada saat itu didominasi penyanyi rock kulit putih. Album debutnya menjadi album debut dengan penjualan tertinggi sebagai seorang penyanyi solo, yang menduduki peringkat #1 di tangga lagu Billboard 200. Whitney Houston (lahir di Newark, New Jersey, Amerika Serikat, 9 Agustus 1963) adalah seorang penyanyi pop dan R&B, artis, produser rekaman, penulis lagu dan mantan model Amerika Serikat. Hoobastank merupakan grup musik asal Amerika Serikat yang beraliran rock modern yang melejit lewat lagu "The Reason" pada tahun 2004. Kata Hoobastank diambil dari kata "Hooba" dan "Slank". Kedua kata tersebut diambil dari bahasa pergaulan sewaktu masih duduk di bangku sekolah. Grup musik ini terdiri dari Douglas Robb (vokal), Dan Estrin (gitar), Markku Lappalainen (bass) dan Chris Hesse (drum). Hoobastank merilis lagu single perdananya yang berjudul "Crawling in The Dark pada November 2001. Lagu tersebut melejit hingga masuk di posisi 68 tangga Billboard Hot 100 dan di pisisi 3 untuk tangga modern rock. Kemudian single kedua pun diluncurkan dengan judul "Runnung Away" yang juga menembus posisi ke 44 untuk Billboard 100 dan di posisi ke 2 untuk rock modern. Pada album kedua, lagu andalan "The Reason" meledak dipasaran Amerika, Asia dan Eropa. Hoobastank saat ini sudah merilis album Basketball Shorts, Hoobastank (2001), The Reason (2003) dan Every Man For Himself (2006).Sebelum album Every Man For Himself rilis,Markku Lappalainen keluar dan digantikan Josh Moreau.
